miniClima Constant Humidity Devices "EBC" - - - topics EBC Homepage Introduction & Version History Features Build Up In Principle Types Description Datalogger (Optional Feature) Air Circulation Filter (Optional Feature) 2.0l Bottle (Optional Feature) Air Distribution Boxes (Optional Accessory) Datasheet Maintenance & Care - - - Introducing Series EBC 08/09/F-III As a first step towards a new generation of our EBCs all units will from now on be built using new housings. From the user's perspective the most essential changes that come along with the new housings are: The way the water bottles are handled The standard bottle size is now at 0.5 litres (was 0.25) and both bottle types (0.5 and 2.0 litres) are positioned on the left side of the EBC, where they are secured with a belt. Specific to the chosen bottle, every EBC features a construction on its left-hand wall, holding both the belt and the water level sensor. Device cooling and dust protection The surface used for the inlet of the cooling air for the device has been remarkably expanded, and the inlet is now positioned on the right-hand side, instead of the front. The close-meshed trellis for filtering dust has been replaced with a filter pad that can be removed for cleaning or renewing in a few steps. The outlets for the cooling air are now found on the cover and on the bottom of the device. Altogether these changes sum up to a) an increased protection against dust soiling the inside of the unit, and b) an improved cooling of the unit - both essential criteria for an ongoing dehumidification capacity. Housing feet To secure the cooling air stream on the bottom of the device, we use housing feet of higher value, which are mechanically attached to the unit (replacing the adhesive ones). ![]() Prototype of new series EBC 08/09/F-III, standard 0.5l bottle secured with a belt Required space (w x h x d; includ. necessary edge distances for the ventilation and the spaces for the bottle and the pipes) 522 x 184 x 340 mm (devices with the new standard 0.5l bottle) 552 x 217 x 340 mm (devices with new 2.0l bottle; you might want to add for the height another 30mm for being able to comfortably handle the 2.0l bottle) ![]() The 0.5l and the 2.0l bottle for the new series EBC 08/09/F-III We refer to units that are built as just described as belonging to series EBC 08/09/F-III (replacing the hitherto series EBC 08/09/F-II). - - - continue with Introduction & Version History - - - - - - return to Top of this page Previous page - - - |
